What weather can you expect during you Easter holiday in Cyprus?

FOODIE FACT: Flaounes

Flaounes are a cheese filled savoury part of the Cypriot Easter tradition. Moreover, they are prepared before Easter Sunday and traditionally served after the  Lenten fast.  Traditionally these were always ‘baked’ in traditional wood burning ovens, families gather to prepare them, some may add raisins according to taste, each flaouna is sprinkled with sesame on the folds, it’s a must try savoury while in Cyprus during the Easter holidays. Additionally, red eggs and tsoureki are also served on this celebration. Furthermore, you can enjoy them at our midnight mass meal on 15.04.2023 at the Haven Restaurant, if you extend your holiday until then. Kopiaste!
