Three More Awards For Crowne Plaza Limassol

We’re delighted to announce that the team brought home two pan-European hospitality awards and one local award in 2020: the IHG Torchbearer Award, the IHG Managing Director Award, and Business / City Hotel of the Year at the 2nd  annual Cyprus Tourism Awards.

The IHG Torchbearer Award recognizes hotels which achieve the highest levels of excellence in delivering True Hospitality for all. Winners of this prestigious annual award must achieve an all-green in their winning metrics and an Elite score for Guest Love, which is measured through the HeartBeat Survey sent to guests after they stay at any IHG Hotel worldwide. Crowne Plaza Limassol was among a select few hotels to win an IHG Torchbearer Award in 2020. Rebecca Pierides, Director of the Churchill Hotel Management Ltd. which owns and operates the Crowne Plaza Limassol hotel, also brought home another IHG award in 2020, receiving the IHG Managing Director Award for Southern Europe. Each year, IHG bestows this award on one franchise hotel operator per region to recognize true brand ambassadors who go above and beyond to bring IHG’s vision to life for guests, colleagues and the local community.

Last but not least, Crowne Plaza Limassol also received the Business / City Hotel bronze award at the 2nd Annual Cyprus Tourism Awards, which aim to celebrate hotels and other tourism stakeholders for their contribution to making Cyprus a world-class tourist destination.
